After the successful medical cannabis conference held in New Zealand last November 2020, a new date has been set for the next big summit on February 10–11, 2022. It will mark the beginning of the industry’s promising future as local producers are looking forward to entering the market.
Dr. Zahra Champion, Executive Director of BioTechNZ and organizer of the MedCan Summit, said that this is their time to shine, with over $100 million invested in the local medicinal cannabis business.
Through unique insights into exporting, innovation, and education, the MedCan Summit will assist local enterprises in accelerating their approach to the market.
They will be presenting the most recent medical and scientific findings as well as breakthrough technologies, as well as discussing current difficulties and opportunities in areas like investment, agritech, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and clinical trials, as promised by Dr. Champion.
The event will feature top international and national thought leaders and strive to integrate medicine, industry, research, and technology. Seed to sale, clinical trials, prescribing, patient case studies, as well as the social, cultural, and economic benefits of the goods to New Zealand, will all be discussed.
The two-day agenda is now available on MedCan’s website, www.medcansummit.co.nz. The schedule includes information about the industry and science tracks and the Healthcare Professionals Forum.
This summit was previously scheduled for October 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 related restrictions, the event had to be moved to February 2022.
